Our 2008 Summer Production
The Herriman Arts Council will be producing “The Sound of Music” live on stage for this year’s Summer production. The Production Staff is underway with a great vision to make this production our best yet!
Our Production Staff has been carefully selected from the Herriman community to bring this show to fruition. Their vision and talent will create a musical journey combined with visual and artistic creativity.
And now, the cast has been selected, hailing from Herriman proper as well as surrounding communities such as Riverton, Bluffdale, Draper, South Jordan, West Jordan, Kearns and even Eagle Mountain! We had over 150 people audition, and have narrowed it down to just over 60 awesome cast members. Just wait until you hear the Nun Chorus. That alone is worth the price of your ticket!.
Because of the overwhelming response, we have extended the show to a second weekend and expect to even sell out on certain nights. So watch for tickets to go on sale June 1.
The Saturday performances may include a "Picnic in the Park" event. We are also planning a "Teaser" at Fort Herriman Days with a Cast Meet and greet.
